Emma is a holistic exercise specialist and nutritionist who is dedicated to the whole body health of her clients. She studied at the University of Otago completing a Bachelor of Physical Education, majoring in Exercise Science and Exercise Prescription and a Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition.

Alongside of study, she worked at a small personal training studio for over three years. She often had a waiting list of people wanting to train with her. Emma believes that achieving an optimal health status is a vital baseline, from which an individual can flourish. Emma works on the philosophy that all forms of stress (physical, mental, emotional, spiritual and nutritional) accumulate in the body, She uses a variety of skills to determine the health status of an individual, including postural assessments, strength and endurance testing, food intake analysis and a comprehensive physiological assessment. Where applicable Emma will order saliva, urine, hair and stool analysis testing for assessment of different hormones, neurotransmitters, nutrient levels in the body and possible bacteria/viral count in a client’s digestive system. It is then Emma’s focus to guide her clients safely and effectively towards reducing their overall stress and achieving an optimal health status. Emma believes in educating her clients to enable them to enjoy long-term health and success.

Emma is primarily based out of Les Mills Auckland City for personal training but is available for postural assessments and nutritional consultations privately. Her specialties are rehabilitation, strength training, weight loss without dieting, digestive disorders and adrenal fatigue.
